Artist's Comments

An early freehand sketch, translated as 'The library'. A band of undead French femmes ransack the priceless collection of literature belonging to Countess Nevena, a widowed vampire. The background is terribly faded and smudged, the only part of the drawing I am pleased with is the 'bride' to the front.

My mood was an odd combination of cheeky and reflective when I drew this, after having read Marquis De Sade's 'Justine' or 'The misfortunes of virtue'

wow! I really enjoy the details of this drawing a lot.. too bad it got smudged but I bet you could rework it hehe!! really excellent story too - when I draw I come up with stories too!! even if they are just simple ones. Great job, keep it up!

If you can't fix it with duct tape, you haven't used enough.

I love it, there's something interesting everywhere you look. Have you ever thought of using Linseed oil with softer pencils, It looks like a technique you might enjoy.

Good Work

Fantastic, anything library or literature involving and I am there.. fantastic detail, all of it is so good, expecially the foreground detail and the detail of the beautiful woman above the right shoulder of Nevena

This is beautifully detailed. The composition keeps it very dynamic.
